# Project Moonlight

*Kirby's Dreamland kinda-sorta meets Tower of Heaven, or maybe a lighthearted OVERWHELM?*

## Overview

Project Moonlight is a short, lighthearted platformer about a little curious creature who fell from the moon along with a few pieces of the moon. You have to go through 4 locations to recover the pieces, then return them where they belong.

## Gameplay

### Mechanics

#### Curiosity

A passive mechanic which makes the character look at nearby "interesting things".

#### Moon gravity

By holding UP you can decrease your own gravity to jump higher and fall slower.

#### Pull

By holding X you can increase your gravitational pull to move objects towards you.

## Areas

#### Nexus Forest

Starting area which connects to other areas. Grassy, weird trees, lighting bugs flying around.

#### Echo Cavern

Every living creature in this area, including the player, is a note on a stave. Includes puzzles that have to do with memorizing a tune and replicating it, singing along with some other creatures or otherwise helping them make a good tune.

#### Bubble Swamp

Includes a lot of bouncy bubbles. Bubbles can be bouncy and sticky, and also can be floating or stuck on ground. This area is all about platforming with the aid of these bubbles.

#### Crystal Cave

It goes so deep, there is very little light here. The crystals here refract light in a way it becomes a concentrated beam, which can then be redirected with other crystals. Being a chunk of moon, our character can also reflect the light beams well. Every creature here has bioluminosity. The goal of each puzzle is to bring light to a bigger crystal which will illuminate the whole room.

#### Wizard Tower

A vertical platforming section. Contains platforms that can be moved using **Pull**. A wizard resides at the top of the tower, who will give you a moon piece after you help him brew a potion.

## Characters

### Important

#### Unnamed moon piece

#### Friendly wizard

Lives in the tower. Upon meeting UnnamedMoonPiece,

### Less important, "enemies"

There are no true enemies in this game. All creatures are friendly or neutral towards UnnamedMoonPiece, and in game can knock it back at best (think wario). This section lists creatures that act as obstacles.
